How much affordable housing is proposed?
Forty per cent of the homes (by habitable room) are proposed as affordable housing to help meet local housing needs.
Why is this site being redeveloped?
The site has remained largely disused for more than 20 years. The proposals present an opportunity to bring the site back into productive use while delivering new homes and public realm improvements.
Yes. The proposals include landscaped spaces, seating areas, shaded gardens and children’s play space but this will be accessible for residents only.
